Seagull Software Sponsors 'Overheid en ICT 2006' Fair in the Netherlands

Government-focused event highlights strong market position

Atlanta, Dordrecht, The Netherlands - 24 April 2006

Seagull Software (AEX: SEAGULL), a leading provider of high-performance solutions that transform legacy business applications into service-oriented architecture (SOA) assets, announced they will be exhibiting at the "Overheid en ICT 2006" fair in Utrecht, the Netherlands. This directly follows the successful Cobol Future event last week in Amsterdam. "Overheid en ICT 2006" is held at De Jaarbeurs in Utrecht 25 through 27 April.

"Our presence at Overheid en ICT confirms the renewed attention of the Dordrecht-based company on the home market" commented Paul Bosse, Seagull Software’s vice president sales Europe. “Local and national government bodies have derived valuable benefits with the LegaSuite® offerings we will be demonstrating at this event.”

“Old and New” (Oud en Nieuw) will be the theme for this year’s event. Based on real-world operational examples of Dutch and international government organizations, Seagull Software will demonstrate how organizations can transform their existing legacy systems to support projects such as call center integration, e-government initiatives and the optimization of business processes.
