Seagull Software Offers LegaSuite® at the 2007 Web Services/SOA on Wall Street Conference

Atlanta - 13 February 2007

Seagull Software (AEX: SEAGULL), a leading provider of high-performance solutions that transform legacy business applications into service-oriented architecture (SOA) assets, announced that it will be exhibiting at the 2007 Web Services/SOA on Wall Street conference Wednesday, February 14 at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City, booth 104.

“The financial services vertical is the largest market where ‘information is the business’,” remarked Kim Addington, executive vice president and chief marketing officer for Seagull Software. “Our LegaSuite solution is a perfect fit for financial services with mainframe-resident business critical applications that require a non-invasive SOA approach.” The LegaSuite mainframe Web services solutions will be shown during the day-long Wall Street event and provide a cure for the mainframe integration headache.

LegaSuite includes:

  • Eclipse Workbench--an integrated IDE for all Service Builders for all platforms and architectures
  • Architecture flexibility - choice of runtime architectures
  • Native CICS, distributed or hybrid
    • Hybrid is unique in the market – offload XML parsing to conserve MIPS
    • Security: JAAS security framework for distributed integration engine
  • Bi-directional Web services support

The 2007 Web Services/SOA conference will focus on SOA technologies being deployed by Wall Street and the financial markets. Business value, integration and emerging technologies are underlying themes for this year’s event. Visit the conference web site for more information.
