Seagull Software Names Sam Elias to Lead North American Operations for LegaSuite^®

ATLANTA - 29 May 2007

Seagull Software, a leading provider of software products that transform legacy applications into service-oriented architecture (SOA) assets, today announced the appointment of Sam Elias as Senior Vice President and General Manager for its North American operations for LegaSuite, Seagull Software’s legacy access and modernization platform.

With over 25 years of experience in enterprise software sales and management, Elias will be responsible for further expanding Seagull Software’s leadership position in the legacy application modernization and integration market. His primary responsibilities include setting the sales and operations strategies for the LegaSuite software suite — which includes J Walk, WinJa, and Transidiom — that provides for application integration and modernization on a wide range of platforms.

Elias has been with Seagull Software since 1996 and has held a number of senior management positions in the company. Prior to joining Seagull Software, he held senior sales and marketing positions with IBM and KnowledgeWare.
