LegaSuite Integration: Reuse Information from Existing Applications
How It Works
LegaSuite Integration makes it easy to create standards-based interfaces to reuse information that’s locked in legacy applications. Using LegaSuite to generate interfaces lets your existing staff complete integration projects in a fraction of the time compared to hand-coding.
Development
LegaSuite Workbench is an Eclipse-based development environment used to expose a wide range of legacy applications as standards-based interfaces such as Web services, JavaBeans, and .NET assemblies.
- Screen Integration: Encapsulate logic via 3270, 5250, Windows and VME 7561/DFP/Forms transactions
- CICS and IMS Integration: Encapsulate CICS/COMMAREA and IMS transactions
- Data Integration: Data access via JDBC or access to non-relational databases such as VSAM
Runtime Deployment
After developing a standards-based interface, you can deploy it to your choice of runtime environments. LegaSuite integration engines receive service requests and execute them, handling all interaction with legacy environments.
- Distribute Integration Engines and Gateways: Integration engine and host gateways to run on and connect to applications on a variety of platforms including mainframe, z/Linux, System i, Linux, AIX, Sun Solaris, HP/UX, and Windows
- CICS Integration Engine: Engine that runs inside CICS
- Windows Integration: Engine to integrate with Windows client/server applications
